Emotions will be displayed as: text {emotion} (*) in script will indicate writer's notes. Note: // Pens'r isn't meant to be said, it is just to make it clear who says the line Note: Doguns should probablly talk slowly and parts that have the emotion as normal just mean I don't really know the emotion to put there so it should be up to you. Some information that might be helpful: Doguns (according to the wiki) are beings that are composed of liquid lava. They are slow but powerful (associated with the elements fire and earth) and probably sound big and intimidating. Lozeg is a dwarf who is like a ticket vendor for the play. People in the play (Babbi, Dwarfi, Demon, Arock, and Gagly): probably don't need to sound really realistic as their characters are acting in a play. (I kind of imagine the lines being overly emphasised/exaggerated) Narrator doesn't talk during the play (The narrator is more of an announcer/host), mainly talks to introduce people to the play and conclude the play. Probably more friendly and welcoming. Babbi, Dwarfi are dwarves in the play that have come across a demon/dogun. Demon is meant to represent doguns in the play. Arock he dies in the play to the demon. Only has two lines. Gagly A dwarf in the play that mainly narrates the dwarves victory. Axelus knows the truth and dispises how the story of the war has been so flipped. Axelus just wants everyone to know the truth of the war. Marock is a dwarf who is like an announcer/host so probably sounds more energetic. Mahou a dwarf that is witnessing the firework show. Only has one line. Dogun is caught by the dwarves and is disgusted/repulsed by the actions the dwarves have taken. Only has one line. Dwarven Guard is a dwarf that follows Marock's orders. Probably sounds more stern and commanding. Only has one line. Crowd of 4 (Lines 85 - 88) each line represents a different person. They are mostly confused why Axelus is saying something different about the war from what they know about the war. Korzim is the son of the Dogun Chief who has been banished and wants the Doguns and Dwarves to make peace. Barden is a member of the Coalition according to the wiki. He should sound more older but not over 70. Pens'r seems like a soldier for the King, he is looking for Axelus. Plario is a dogun, I don't really know how a dogun would sound like. He looks like hes made up of lava and rocks. Dwarven Scout is a dwarf and has two lines. He could sound younger I think. [1/3] Lozeg: Interesting to see a Human wanting to see a Dwarven play! {intrigued} [2/3] Lozeg: The only play we're performing is the annual Victory Festival. {normal} [3/3] Lozeg: The entry cost is 1 Emerald Block. {normal} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/1] Lozeg: Just take a seat and enjoy the show. {normal} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *This only happens when the player does the From the Mountains Quest, otherwise Axelus says nothing* [1/1] Axelus: Wait, is that- Hey! I will eat you all for my afternoon demon luncheon. {intimidating} [9/23] Arock: We must protect ourselves! {determined} [10/23] Demon: MOAHAHAHHA! BEGONE TINY DWARVES. {with malice} [11/23] Arock: Ahhhh. I am dying...dying! {desprite} [12/23] Demon: MOAHAHAHA. WE WILL KILL ALL OF YOU. {confident} [13/23] Babbi: We need to forge better weapons so we can fight back. {determined} [14/23] Gagly: Good idea! We will use our intelligence to slay the demons. {determined} [15/23] Demon: YOU CANNOT BEAT US, WE CAN SUMMON DRAGONS WITH OUR MAGIC. {confident} [16/23] Gagly: Dragons are no match for us?? CHARGE! {determined} [17/23] Gagly: We have won. Hooray. And now we have established a great citadel, Rodoroc! {celebrating} [18/23] Gagly: The dwarven intellect beat the sheer power of the demons magic. {normal} [19/23] Narrator: Thank you all for watching! {enthusiastic} [20/23] Narrator: I hope you enjoyed the show, and learned something new today! {enthusiastic} [21/23] Narrator: We are continuing the celebration at the old Demon City. Follow the red banners outside Rodoroc to get there. {normal} [22/23] Narrator: Meet you all there! {friendly} *Axelus probably says this if the player has done the From the Mountains Quest.* [23/23] Axelus: Ugh, that was horrible.. Like I said before, this war was a genocide. Don't believe any of the lies they try and feed you. {disgust/explaining} *Axelus probably says this if the player hasn't done the From the Mountains Quest.* [23/23] Axelus: Ugh, that was awful. Don't believe anything you see here, human. History is written by the victors. {disgust/explaining} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/4] Marock: Welcome, one and all! Dwarven brothers and sisters, guests and visitors! {enthusiastic/energetic} [2/4] Marock: If I could draw your attention to the wooden stage in the north, we can begin. {normal} [3/4] Marock: Welcome to the annual festival where we celebrate victory over the foul demons...The Doguns! {normal} [4/4] Marock: Now, if I can get you to turn around to face the bonfire, we've prepared a lovely firecasting show for you all while we prepare! {normal} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/1] Mahou: Wow, I didn't know Dwarves could learn such magic! Beats the heck out of firecrackers! {astonished} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/4] Marock: Magnificent! Thank you very much to our fire casters. Now, ladies and gents, your attention to the main stage please! {normal} [2/4] Marock: For the last 900 years we have captured renegade Doguns that escaped the war, and this year is no exception! {explaining} [3/4] Marock: We shall now entomb the foul demon to join the ranks of the other Doguns on display. {explaining/disgusted} [4/4] Marock: Bring it out, guards! {commanding} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/2] Marock: Note its magical might, its aggressive nature, its intense heat, and its fierce appearance. {explaining} [2/2] Marock: All no match for the ingenuity and comeradery of the Dwarven nations! {passionate} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/1] Dogun: M-Monsters... You all...are the demons here... {anger/disgust with a subtone of fear} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/6] Axelus: Every year, every year, every single YEAR you do this. You all need to open your god-blessed eyes for once! {annoyed/frustrated} [2/6] Axelus: Do you all really believe everything they tell you? Do you all just lap it up like dogs?! {mocking} [3/6] Axelus: Our side won the war, but does that really mean we were in the right? I'll tell you right now, it doesn't! {persuasive} [4/6] Axelus: We all see it- The Doguns have feelings, family and thoughts, just like anyone else here! {explaining} [5/6] Axelus: You are encasing live Doguns for entertainment. Public execution! This twisted display is more demonic than they ever could dream to be! {mocking} [6/6] Marock: Guards! Get this propaganda spewing half pint to the Molten Core Prison, north side. {commanding/angry} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/1] Dwarven Guard: Come along, sir. Let's not make more of a scene. {stern} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/5] Crowd: Why would Axelus say something so blatantly wrong? {confused} [2/5] Crowd: What was he talking about? That was all nonsense! {confused, confident} [3/5] Crowd: Are they really taking him to the Molten Core? You've heard the horror stories about there, right? {disbelief, scared} [4/5] Crowd: Well, the expression 'no hope blows from the north' came from there, since it's on the north side... {explaining} [5/5] Marock: Apologies, all. I shall provide us all with a quick way back to Rodoroc on the floor here. We hope you enjoyed the show, despite the interruption! {friendly, explaining, annoyed} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Axelus says this dialogue if the player has done the From the Mountains Quest* [1/4] Axelus: You came at the right time. It's good to see you're still interested in what's really going on here.. {normal} [2/4] Axelus: I've told you this already, but you have to know that it really is true. The Dwarves have been lied to for so long about the war. {normal} [3/4] Axelus: ..But I think it's best if you see it for yourself. Relying on my word alone won't be enough to grasp the full extent of this dilemma. {normal} [4/4] Axelus: Hopefully I will see you soon. {normal} *Axelus probably says this dialogue if the player hasn't done the From the Mountains Quest* [1/4] Axelus: I see I got your attention. Intrested in the truth. {normal} [2/4] Axelus: I'm no conspiracy nut. The Dwarves have been lied to for hundreds of years about the war. {normal} [3/4] Axelus: I have seen the truth. But my word isn't enough, is it? Seeing is believing, after all. {normal} [4/4] Axelus: Hopefully I will see you soon. {normal} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Axelus says this dialogue if the player has done the From the Mountains Quest (Note: only difference is his first line)* [1/3] Axelus: Now do you see? Everything that I told you about when we rescued those flerisi was indeed true... {normal} [2/3] Axelus: My people are tyrants and conquerors...but they are also good. The people have been brainwashed. {normal} [3/3] Axelus: Many things are about to happen. If you want to know more, come to house number 81 in Maex. I'll be waiting. {normal} *Axelus probablly says this dialouge if the player hasn't done the From the Mountains Quest (Note: only difference is his first line)* [1/3] Axelus: Well, now you have read what I read. The truth...or the lie. {normal} [2/3] Axelus: My people are tyrants and conquerors...but they are also good. They people have been brainwashed. {normal} [3/3] Axelus: Many things are about to happen. If you want to know more, come to house number 81 in Maex. I'll be waiting. {normal} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/10] Axelus: Ah, you made it. Come and meet Korzim. {normal} [2/10] Korzim: Welcome...Human. I...am Korzim. {normal} [3/10] Korzim: We...are those who...want peace. I am son...of the Dogun Chief... I have...been banished. {explaining} [4/10] Axelus: The coalition is a small group of believers in the truth. The Doguns aren't demons, and the Dwarves aren't all brainwashed. {explaining} [5/10] Axelus: But of course, we have to live in hiding. The Doguns won't tolerate Dwarves and the Dwarves hunt traitors and "Demons". {explaining} [6/10] Barden: Right now, we're trying to convince the public. But it's proving difficult, if not impossible. {explaining} [7/10] Barden: It isn't 900 years ago. We have the technology and supply chains to live here peacefully, but they just won't listen! {frustrated} [8/10] Korzim: We have...a plan... To win over...my people...that is. {explaining} [9/10] Axelus: Korzim has told us that dragon bone is sacred to his people. We had to make some connections, but we have a way to get it now. {explaining} [10/10] Axelus: If you want, you could come with us. We can explain more of the situation later. Exit's through the back. {normal} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/2] Korzim: The others...are just up ahead. I'll let you through...our tunnel. {explaining} [2/2] Korzim: We use...earth and...fire...elements. It is slow...like us...but powerful. {explaining} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/2] Axelus: Over here! Near the skull. {indicating (gesturing)} [2/2] Barden: We got this drill all the way from Corkus. Axelus had to pay a king's ransom to buy it, but this ought to work! {explaining} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/3] Barden: ... {Silence due to realization} [2/3] Barden: AAAAGH! Idiot Corkus swindlers! Damn it all! How many emeralds did we waste?! {frustrated/angry} [3/3] Barden: Ugh, do you have any experience with machines? You might have some idea of how in the hell to fix this hunk of junk. {frustrated} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/3] Barden: Fantastic, soldier! We got the bone! Couldn't have done it without you. {commending} [2/3] Axelus: You can take it back to the coalition base. Barden and I will need to pack up before we join you. {explaining} [3/3] Barden: Just knock on the black block in front of the cave we arrived in. {normal} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/4] Axelus: Great, you got back alright. {normal} [2/4] Axelus: Dragon bone is one of the hardest substances in all the provinces. It's extremely rare. {explaining} [3/4] Axelus: We're going to present this to the Dogun chief as tribute. We need to tidy it up. {explaining} [4/4] Axelus: Could you get 1 Repair Kit from the eastern part of the base? {requesting} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/4] ???: Shh. Do you hear that? // Pens'r {hurried, questioning} [2/4] ???: There are voices behind this wall, and the trail ends here. // Pens'r {explaining} [3/4] ???: We have no vaults here. Must be traitors... The King really wants to see Axelus. // Pens'r {contemplating/thinking} [4/4] ???: Stand back! I'll ready the charges... // Pens'r {commanding} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/6] Pens'r: Axelus! You are under arrest for high treason! {commanding} [2/6] Pens'r: The king has sent for you personally. {explaining} [3/6] Pens'r: If you don't come with us we wi- {explaining, relises} [4/6] Pens'r: ...oh Lord, this must be why! D-Doguns?! {outraged} [5/6] Pens'r: He is consorting with the enemy! Axelus, they've tainted your soul! {announcing} [6/6] Pens'r: Entomb these Doguns, and slay their Dwarven thralls! {commanding} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/6] Axelus: Is everyone okay!? {concerned} [2/6] Axelus: No, no, ignore the repair kit! There's no time to worry about that! {urgent/hurried} [3/6] Axelus: Our position has been compromised, they blew our doors wide open! We have to evacuate immediately. {urgent/hurried} [4/6] Axelus: We've never been caught like this before, they never knew we really had Doguns on our side. {explaining hurriedly} [5/6] Axelus: We need to get to safety right now! The least explored area is the Upper Heights. {urgent/warning} [6/6] Axelus: Everyone, out! Now! They won't follow through the rough terrain! {warning/hurried} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/3] Axelus: We'll stay around here, we aren't welcome in the village. {explaining} [2/3] Korzim: But...bring them...the dragon bone...as a gift. If they accept it...they might accept us. {explaining} [3/3] Axelus: You are free to enter the village but we will stay back and wait until the coast is clear. Keep going. {explaining} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/4] Plario: What is...that on the...cliff to the south? {inquiring} [2/4] Dwarven Scout: Hey, aren't those...Doguns?! A whole settlement... {alarmed} [3/4] Dwarven Scout: They've been gathering forces! We must inform Rodoroc immediately! {alarmed} [4/4] Plario: Human. Come talk to me... Now. {serious} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/6] Plario: Human... That Dwarf, he saw us... {explaining/serious} [2/6] Plario: They will...destroy us... If he reports...back to Rodoroc. {explaining/serious} [3/6] Plario: We need to...prepare our defenses. We need all the...help we can get. {explaining/serious} [4/6] Plario: Wait... What are...you holding? Dragon bone...? Just what we need... {curious, relievied} [5/6] Plario: Human...if you promise to help us...I will grant you access to...our secret elevators... You can get up and...down the heights with those. {explaining} [6/6] Plario: Please return to...us when you reach level 92. Take this...badge so the...others recognize you...as an ally. One of the elevators is...to the south. {explaining}
