Island Worker 1 (M) is a laid back and mellow worker, not at all interested in doing any help while on break. Speak to him about something serious and he's looking through you. Island Innkeeper (M/F - Androgynous) is a friendly and helpfull inkeeper. The Inn isn't busy so they're a bt taken aback by a customer, but non-the-less happy to help. Relaxed and content. Island Worker 2 (F) is an attentive worker, feeding wood to the bonfire. They're focuse don their task since not much is happening, so they dont notice the player at first. The overall job isnt jarring, so theyre notibly relaxed and content, happily humming while working. Island Worker 3 (F) is skittish and affraid, but trying to hide their fear with a faux helpfullness while keeping an eye on the ghosts. She's actively frustrated and afraid of her current position, but is clearly more afraid of her peers discovering her discomfort. Island Worker 4 (M) is a worker stuck in the cold regions of the isles. He's not actively content in his position, more relenting as he struggles in the cold. He's uncomfortable and actively shivering, but not in immediate distress. Island worker 5 (M) is mechanic that works on the Isles' equipment. Focused on his job, he doesn't spot the player at first, but seems a bit intrigued by their precense. Past the curiousity, he's fairly friendly, but draws a clear boundary on keeping the equipment safe so he doesn't have more problems. He's busy, but not overworked. [1/2] Island Worker: Oh, hello! If you're looking for something, I can't help you right now. It's my day off! //Island Worker 1 {Relaxed, excited and almost triumphant about the fact it's his day off, notibly laid back.} [2/2] Island Worker: I'm just taking some time to relax before I need to get back to work. //Island Worker 1 {Sigh as you further relax and get comfortable, minding your own busness.} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/2] Island Innkeeper: Oh- hello! Welcome to the Isles of Fiction! {Pre-occupied by other activity, so you're caught off guard by sudden customer. Still happy to be of service once you've gotten your barrings.} [2/2] Island Innkeeper: If you'd like to stay here for the night, we have several rooms available for purchase! And if not- well, we hope you enjoy your time here regardless! {Relaxed, Happy and content to help, but also not too fussed if player decides to say or not. Just looking to be helpfull!} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/3] Island Worker: Hm hm hm... Oh, hello there! Don't mind me, I'm just over here keeping the bonfire going! //Island worker 2 {Humming, you're focused on your task so you're a bit taken-aback when the player comes up to you. Explaining while still doing job, noting player's curiousity you're happy to explain.} [2/3] Island Worker: We're not allowed to let it go out, so it needs more wood pretty regularly! Even though I'm pretty sure it's magical fire... //Island Worker 2 {Calmly laugh about the circumstance, but slight hesitance and confusion once the thought of the fire being magic comes up. Slightly trailing off as you think.} [3/3] Island Worker: Oh, but that doesn't matter much. I enjoy the work here! It's nice and peaceful. //Island Worker 2 {Relaxed and happy, brushing off thought, you're content with your job and happy to be here, who cares about the details.} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/4] Island Worker: I, ah-... Hello! Welcome to the- the Isles of Fiction! //Island Worker 3 {Skittish, and on-guard, but trying to mask clear discomfort with happy, customer service.} [2/4] Island Worker: ...This place gives me the creeps. N-nobody likes working here! Any- and I mean ANY of the other islands would have been better... //Island Worker 3 {Composure breaks, clearly freaked out and panicked as you expose your true feelings, you clearly have regrets about working here; emphasis on "N-nobody", and "ANY"} [3/4] Island Worker: B-but no, SOMEONE has to k-keep an eye on the ghosts. And guess who g-got unlucky this time! //Island Worker 3 {Frantic and affraid, but also frustrated due to your resentment of current position; emphasis on "SOMEONE", and "this"} [4/4] Island Worker: ...D-don't tell anybody I was complaining... please... //Island worker 3 {stunned pause to start,a little baffled at yourself as you calm down. Filled with regret as you realise what you did, afraid of your other coworkers finding out. Meekly pleading; emphasis on "please..."} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/2] Island Worker: Brr... Goodness, it's cold out here. I m-must say, this island is... n-not my favorite position. //Island Worker 4 {Shivering, just uncomfortable and not critical, discontent with position.} [2/2] Island Worker: B-but someone has to keep an eye on t-things! And today that s-someone is me. Unfortunately. //Island Worker 4 {Brushing off discomfort in favour oflogic, resigned to cold fate. Still dissapointed you had be be here though, why no coat.} -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [1/3] Island Worker: Mmn. All seems in order over here. Oh, you there! I haven't seen you around before. //Island Worker 5 {Initially focused on task, but once player is spotted near you're curious and inviting.} [2/3] Island Worker: A newcomer to the Isles? Well, pleasure to meet you. I can't talk much though, I have a good deal more equipment to check up on. //Island Worker 5 {Friendly, but in a hurry to leave. You're a busy guy. Abit of excitement at the mention of equipment, you like what you work with.} [3/3] Island Worker: Just try not to mess with anything while you're over here! That would make my job harder. //Island Worker 5 {Friendly and casual, but you're not really asking, this is a calm demand. sounds like last bit is a friendly joke, but you are being mostly serious.}
